This is an absolutely excellent adventure, brimming with personality and originality. Little threads run all the way through this adventure, making the gardens feel interconnected and alive. Depending on which threads PCs pull and are chased away from, there is a lot of fallout—and plenty of future shenanigans—sprouting from the end of this adventure.
The layout and information presentation make this adventure really easy to follow and a pleasure to read. I haven’t had a chance to use it at the table yet, but I can see it being really easy to reference. Strategic use of bold text, clear stat blocks, art, cross-references to different areas, the reference section, and overall layout make finding information a breeze. The designer notes are a real gift to GMs, giving a clear picture of how this module could be run in the most interesting and dynamic way.
It's dark and weird enough that it might not be for groups without a stomach for a healthy scoop of horror (I would not call it a horror module, but it certainly has horror imagery within). Most groups familiar with OSR/NSR modules will probably find it weirder than many other modules but no darker than usual, and even more delightful than most with its whimsy and fairy tale premise.
Hi Brad. I've recently bought the Italian version of this adventure, produced by Need Games. I have the Italian PDF, but not VTT files. Is it possible to buy them separately? Thanks, Simone.
Hello, I am in the same situation as Saul, I've emailed you at that address a couple of days ago, but I have received no response yet. Could I receive a copy of the files too? Thanks, Shion.
